DENISON UNIVERSITY PERFORMING ARTS FACILITIES

Korda provided survey and civil engineering services for the new Michael D. Eisner Center for Performing Arts at Denison University. This new 70,000 square-foot facility is home to the departments of music, dance, and theater.
Korda assisted architect WRL and Landscape Architect MKSK with master planning assistance and detailed design for this high-profile project situated in the heart of the Denison campus.
Civil design services included relocating existing utilities in the area of the new building, along with grading, stormwater management, water/sewer service design, phasing, and erosion and sediment control. Korda provided detailed grading to ensure proper drainage, earthwork balance, and ADA compliance.
