MEMORIAL HEALTH SYSTEMS PATIENT CARE EXPANSION

After completing the Master Plan for Memorial Health, Korda was hired to design the structural, MEP, and technology systems for the initial implementation of the Master Plan. This initial phase of construction includes a 3-story patient tower on the north side of the campus that will become the primary entrance to the entire facility, and our team also designed a new MOB on the west side of the facility for medical oncology.

Since the hospital facility had been constructed over many decades, there were a number of satellite mechanical and electrical rooms supporting the facility. Korda designed a central plant that houses the chillers, boilers, electrical gear, and other central systems to allow these satellite plants to be removed. The new central plant supports the new construction, the existing facility, and it also has space and infrastructure to support the planned expansion of the hospital facility

  • New Patient Tower and MOB
  • New Central Plant which eliminated mutple satellite plants
  • $55,000,000
