THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY ARTS DISTRICT

The Ohio State University’s masterplan, Framework 2.0, envisioned a complete transformation of the Arts District. This project includes a new School of Music building including a 250-seat recital hall, rehearsal spaces, classrooms, and faculty offices. The Department of Theatre building will include the Moving-Image Production Program, a 500-seat proscenium theatre, a 300-seat flexible theatre, and a 100-seat black box. The Arts Library building will consolidate collections from fine arts, music, theatre and dance into a single location.
