THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY WOODRUFF AVENUE AND TUTTLE PARK PLACE REBUILDS
Korda provided surveying and engineering services to rebuild Woodruff Avenue from Cannon Drive to High Street and a portion of Tuttle Park Place. Woodruff Avenue was reconstructed using a concrete base with asphalt overlay. The project implemented “complete streets” streetscape improvements outlined in the One Framework Plan as well as the recommendations provided in The Ohio State University Stormwater Master Plan. These include improvements to make the streets more pedestrian and bicycle friendly by providing improved sidewalks and ADA ramps, bike lanes, plazas, and green spaces adjacent to the streets and implementing sustainable strategies in stormwater management and materials utilization.
