Audio/Video Systems Designer

As an A/V Systems consultant at Korda, your task is to design and analyze the following building systems and prepare the drawings and specifications for bidding and construction by contractors.
Audio/Video Systems Designer:
- Paging, sound, and video systems
- Security, card access, and CCTV systems
- Nurse call and medical telemetry systems
- Voice, data, and wireless systems
This position involves interpreting and applying local and national code requirements as part of the design for the safety of the public.

- Willingness to learn new skills and to work towards continuous improvement
- Willingness to work additional time as required to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial A/V design experience; 6 years is preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree related to the position is preferred
- Must have or be interested in pursuing AVIXA (InfoComm) CTS certification within their first year. CTS-D certification is a plus.
- Familiar with all types of AV equipment, cables, and control systems
- Experience with other low-voltage systems is a plus
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is a plus
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, no visa sponsorship available at this time. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
