CAD Technician for Electrical Engineering Department
Korda/Nemeth Engineering, Inc. is seeking a CAD Technician for an immediate opening to assist in building plans development within our Electrical Engineering Department. Candidates Revit experience are highly preferred. This is a full-time, hourly paid position. Relocation reimbursement is not available at this time.

Our clients include state and federal governments, municipalities, healthcare, K-12 schools, universities, laboratories, multiuse, hotels, office, retail, sports and recreation building owners.
Our Electrical Engineering department consists of 20 electrical engineers, designers, and technicians. The majority of our staff has been with the firm for many years and has a wide variety of experience. We work in a team environment, with our technicians working with specific people and projects during the design time from start to finish. In addition, our technicians support each other for assistance during times of heavy workloads.
To be successful in this position, you must:
- Have CAD drafting skills
- Be self-motivated and committed to ongoing CAD learning
- Work collaboratively in a creative environment and communicate well with engineers
- Handle and resolve problems with poise
- Be willing to work extra time in evenings and weekends as it takes to meet project deadlines
- Read and write English fluently with good grammar and spelling skills
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (two or more years highly preferred)
- Experience working with diverse project types a plus
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, no Visa sponsorship available at this time. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
