Centegra Huntley Hospital

Korda designed this hospital to serve an emerging market north of Chicago. The facility includes 8 operating rooms, a USP 797 pharmacy, ICU, emergency department, and inpatient beds. To serve this facility, our engineers designed a central utility plant that is capable of easily accommodating an expansion as the facility’s needs increase. This is done by sizing piping and conduits to transmit higher utility volumes than are currently needed for the initial function of the hospital. Valves were installed in this initial phase to allow future plant and capacity expansion without interrupting existing operations.
