Dublin City Schools – Jerome High School Addition
The housing developments feeding into the Jerome High School section of the District have seen tremendous growth, which prompted the District to expand Jerome High School. Fortunately, the original design team, which included Korda for engineering, anticipated future growth of the high school, so we designed the central plant and the structure to easily accommodate this growth. Piping capacities were sized for the extension of the academic wings, space was set aside for future boilers, chillers, and electrical gear, and the exterior walls of the academic wings were designed to be removed for future extension. Korda’s familiarity with these existing MEP and structural systems were an asset to the team designing this expansion, and we are proud to continue what we started for Dublin City Schools.
