GRAVITY

The overall development includes a six-story, 194,260 square foot multiuse building, which includes  5-storis of residential use over first floor retail space,  In addition, there is a four-story precast concrete parking structure with a 560-car capacity and an 8-story office building.
Korda Engineering was the Engineer of Record (EOR) for the project. Korda designed the foundations and the retaining walls. We set the structural standards for the project design, that is, specifications, design loads and structural sections. Korda worked with the Architect and the Designer to coordinate all aspects of the structural work. As the EOR reviewed the structural calculations provided by the designer, we reviewed the shop drawings of the structure and provided comments to ensure that the quality dictated by the project standards are followed. Korda Engineering also addressed field issues during construction.
