Mercy Health Perrysburg Cancer Center

Mercy Health Perrysburg developed an emergency department, Cancer Center/Medical Office Building, and Hospital campus in three phases over a period of six years. Korda designed the second and third phases of the project. The second phase included the 63,000 square foot Cancer Center/Medical Office Building. This facility included medical and radiation oncology with a linear acceleratory, CT scanner, USP 797 compliant compounding pharmacy and infusion center. The design of this building included provisions for the future hospital expansion.

The third phase of this project added a 95,000 square foot inpatient hospital. The design for the hospital electrical systems incorporated the existing emergency power systems into a unified system to economically and reliably provide the desired stand-by power supply. The new hospital also expanded into the Medical Office Building that had been designed to accommodate this expansion during phase 2.
