Nathaniel R. Jones Federal Building
Constructed in 2002, this federal building was retrofitted in 2009 to meet the GSA P-100 standards current at that time. These standards did not allow the use of steam as a heating medium, so our engineering team replaced the existing steam and condensate systems with high efficiency, gas-fired, hot water boilers and centrifugal pumps powered by variable frequency drives. The distribution components of the HVAC system such as the terminal boxes and their associated controls were also replaced.
