National Church Residences – Walnut Trace

The project is a four-story building with 93 units and first floor enclose parking.  The project site is 4 acres and sits along the Big Walnut Creek Floodplain.  Korda provided Civil Engineering and surveying Services and coordinated approvals with the City of Gahanna for the private improvements.  The project included enclosing a short portion of stream and constructing within the flood plain, which affected the overall design.  The storm water system includes a dry detention basin as an amenity space as well as buried detention under the parking lot, which is affected by the Big Walnut flood elevations.
