Ohio Department of Agriculture – Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory

The Ohio Department of Agriculture’s mission is to ensure the safety of the state’s food supply and Ohio’s food animals and plant life. It is also to create greater economic opportunity for Ohio’s farmers, preserve the state’s resources, and to partner with research institutions to further develop new agricultural products and services. With these goals in mind, Korda was selected as part of an overall design team to provide professional engineering services to perform a needs assessment of the existing ADDL facilities and generate a Program of Requirements (POR) conforming with OFCC requirements. This effort was provided in three phases: a preliminary report, a final need assessment report, and the formal POR.
