OHIO HEALTH MANSFIELD

One of the primary functions of this building construction is to upgrade the existing operating room facilities for the hospital. Korda designed 12 operating rooms, and a shelled space for 2 to 3 additional operating rooms. This construction allows the existing operating rooms and the PACU to be renovated, and we updated the X-Ray and nuclear medicine facilities, providing a fitness/rehab space, and shelled the 5th floor of the MOB to allow for future expansion of services. To facilitate the expansion, our engineers upgraded the central plant to add capacity not only for the MOB, but also to add redundancy, reliability, and flexibility for the existing hospital.
