OhioHealth Women's Hospital

OhioHealth Women’s Hospital

The project is a new Women’s Hospital addition to the OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital Campus. OhioHealth’s goal for this new building is to create a warm, secure, hopeful destination for women of all ages and station. The scope of work includes a hospital building that is approximately 400,000 SF, a medical office building (MOB) that is approximately 164,000 SF, and a 5-story parking garage capable of at least 500 spaces. The new building includes a lower level, a maximum of eight occupied levels above grade, and a mechanical penthouse. Services include NICU, postpartum, high-risk OB, gynecology, short stay rooms, labor and delivery rooms, C-section rooms, general operating rooms and supporting pre/post bays, a sterile processing department, and a full-scale dining and kitchen area that will serve both the new building and some of the existing Riverside campus. The new building also includes a connection to the existing Orange Building, which includes renovation work for about 26,000 SF. The hospital building includes a sustainability target of Energy Star 75 and LEED silver; however, the project will not seek actual LEED certification. The Women’s Health MOB includes five levels and is located above the Women’s Health Parking Garage. Services in the MOB include primary care, wellness, imaging, bone health, and a variety of other women’s health services. The Women’s Health Parking Garage is an open parking garage with some connection(s) to the Women’s Hospital and the MOB.
