Short North Streetscape

The Short North Streetscape Improvements project includes evaluation of the existing streetscape and preparing a Preliminary Engineering Report and ultimately construction drawings for streetscape improvements within the public right-of-way of High Street from Convention Center Drive on the south to East Ninth Avenue on the north 9*600 LF/1.6 mles). The Short North continues to be a vibrant and exciting area and has established itself as the City’s Arts and Entertainment District. This project’s primary purpose is to implement the goals stated in the Vision Statement contained in the Short North Design Guidelines within the confines of the public right-of-way; that being “…celebrating the arts and supported by a full range of transportation and pedestrian modes without over dependency on the car.”
