OhioHealth Grove City Hospital Commissioning

This project involved a first floor outpatient surgery suite and second floor medical offices to include a sleep lab. The equipment consisted of a rooftop unit for each floor with VAV terminal boxes with electric reheat. The second floor included fan powered boxes. Retro commissioning included reviewing the three year old installation with the design documents. Some of the design documents were not available. Recommendations for installation of equipment repair/replacement were provided. A review of the current sequences was completed with recommendations for graphics corrections, energy saving opportunities, TAB work, user interface upgrade, and user training. There was a different user for each floor, so the retro commissioning for each floor was completed on separate dates. JCI Controls was the only common player. The owner also included valve tagging, and electric, water and natural gas survey for submetering in our work on site.
