The Ohio State University, Newark Campus – Alford Center for Science & Technology

Located in the academic core of the of The Ohio State University’s regional campus at Newark, this new 40,000 square foot Science and Technology Building includes multiple teaching laboratories and brings together multiple
programs that include Physical and Biological Sciences, Nursing Technologies, Radiologic Sciences Technology, Surgical Technologies, and Engineering. Korda provided structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services.
This 3-story facility intentionally created contiguous blocks of laboratories to promote teaching and provide clear connectivity to ensure ample opportunity for student collaboration. This $32,000,000 facility is the 11th building on the shared 200-acre campus of Central Ohio Technical College and The Ohio State University at Newark.
