Korda/Nemeth Engineering is pleased to be leading the Team for the COL-39-20.60 East Liverpool SR 39 Safety, Accessibility, and Reconstruction project that received a 2023-2024 Rural Surface Transportation Grant Program.   East Liverpool was the only grant recipient in the State of Ohio and one of 18 nationwide.  The grant, funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, supports projects that improve and expand the surface transportation infrastructure in rural areas to increase connectivity, improve the safety and reliability of the movement of people and freight, and generate regional economic growth and improve quality of life. The City of East Liverpool will receive $29,712,043 and will be used to complete reconstruction of SR 39 from Mulberry Street east to the Pennsylvania State line (PA-SR 68).  Korda will continue to work with East Liverpool, ODOT District 11, and OMEGA (Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association) to complete the project by 2028.
