Ian started his career with Korda in 2004 and has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence.  He has worked on a wide range of unique projects during his tenure with Korda and has consistently delivered designs that not only meet rigorous safety standards but also push the boundaries of innovation.  Known for his attention to detail and strong work ethic, Ian consistently delivers creative solutions for his structural system designs to his clients. Ian is highly skilled at translating complex structural system concepts into understandable language that the clients can rely on for their decisions.

  • If you weren’t an engineer, what career would you have pursued?
    I would probably be a high school math teacher and football coach.
  • Do you have a life motto or inspirational quote?
    Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
  • What do you like to do in your free time?
    I enjoy running ultramarathons. The last one I completed took place in Zion National Park and consisted of 43 miles of trail running with 5000 feet of elevation gain.
  • With whom would you most like to have dinner?
    My dad.
